A bstract Non-analyticity in co-moving momenta within the non-Gaussian bispectrum is a distinctive sign of on-shell particle production during inflation, presenting unique opportunity for “direct detection” particles with masses as large inflationary Hubble scale ( H ). However, strength such non-analyticity ordinarily drops exponentially by Boltzmann-like factor exceed . In this paper, we study an exception provided dimension-5 derivative coupling inflaton to heavy-particle currents, applying it specifically case two real scalars. The operator has “chemical potential” form, which harnesses kinetic energy inflaton, $$ {\overset{\cdot }{\phi}}_0^{1/2}\approx 60H ϕ ⋅ 0 1 / 2 ≈ 60 H , act efficient source scalar production. Derivative couplings ensure radiative stability slow-roll potential, turn maintains (approximate) scale-invariance correlations. Physics potential of a few hundred GeV ~ L + [ , - collider
There is growing evidence that both a Standard Model and a SUSY Model Higgs should exhibit one resonance at a mass less than 2MZ . This is precisely in the mass range that is very difficult (but not impossible) to detect at the LVC and possibly beyond the reach of LEP II . At a WW collider the direct channel W + p,h°-bb can be used to search for the Higgs. We discuss the collider requirements f...
متن کاملPhysics at the Linear Collider
The physics at the planned e+e− colliders is discussed around three main topics corresponding to different manifestations of symmetry breaking: W physics in the no Higgs scenario, studies of the properties of the Higgs and precision tests of SUSY. A comparison with the LHC is made for all these cases. The γγ mode of the linear collider will also be reviewed.
متن کاملInclusion of Chemical Potential for Scalar Fields
Abstract: There are two possible methods for the inclusion of the chemical potential in a relativistic bosonic field theory. The most popular method has recently been criticised by some authors, so much so as to require a re-analysis of the entire problem. I here present a new approach to the inclusion of the chemical potential that uses the second method and zeta-function regularisation techni...

This presentation intends to illustrate the specific capabilities of an ee sub-TeV collider to provide answers on the basic issues in physics: origin of mass, hierarchy of masses, cosmological problems. Some foreseeable scenarios are discussed with a possible synergy with LHC.

Studies of the physics potential of the Future Linear Collider are establishing a broad programme which will start in the region of 350 to 500 GeV C. of M. energy. The main goal is to understand why the standard model works; by studying the properties of the Higgs sector, if it is within reach, and by exploring the complex world of Supersymmetry, if it is real. If the Higgs boson is not found s...
